I develop fault diagnosis methods, fault-mitigation strategies, and lateral/longitudinal control for connected and cooperative vehicles, using AI to improve the safety of automated driving. In 2024 I received TNO’s Young Excellent Researcher award.Ik ontwikkel methoden voor foutdiagnose, foutmitigatiestrategieën en laterale/longitudinale regeling voor verbonden en coöperatieve voertuigen, en gebruik AI om de veiligheid van geautomatiseerd rijden te verbeteren. In 2024 ontving ik de Young Excellent Researcher-award van TNO.

I am an assistant professor in the Dynamics & Control group (Department of Mechanical Engineering), working on robust fault diagnosis and occlusion-aware motion planning for automated vehicles — the subject of my 2024 PhD.Ik ben Assistant Professor in de groep Dynamics & Control (afdeling Werktuigbouwkunde) en werk aan robuuste foutdiagnose en occlusie-bewuste bewegingsplanning voor geautomatiseerde voertuigen — het onderwerp van mijn promotie in 2024.
